Wilderness Navigation Fundamentals (WNF) fully integrates NTS Topographical Maps, Compass Skills and GPS receivers, into a one day course. The WNF provides excellent Map and Compass Skills integrated with GPS Receiver Training. GPS Receivers are an excellent tool for navigation when used with a topographical map and compass.

The WFM is a highly practical wilderness navigation course and provides excellent knowledge for all users of the outdoors. If you want to improve your knowledge and confidence with a GPS, as well as gain wilderness navigation skills, then the Wilderness Navigation Core Seminar is for you.

• Compass Use
• Proper Route Planning
• Learning to Programme a GPS
• Using your GPS to Navigate
• Programming Way points
• Use of GPS as an Aid to Navigation
